Compared to Wednesday, the Nepse index has decreased by 3.22 points and reached 2731.78 points. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), a total of 7486,575 shares of 233 companies were bought and sold on Thursday, resulting in a turnover of over Rs 3.78 billion.
Of the 233 securities traded, Samridhi Finance securities rose the most by 9.27 percent in the previous trading day. Similarly, the share price of Samling Power Company has risen 8.17 percent on this day.
The share price of the most Manushi MFI fell 6.93 percent on Thursday compared to the previous trading day. The share price of the company is Rs. Similarly, the share price of Sana Kisan Vikas Microfinance has declined by 5.08 percent while that of Karnali Development Bank has declined by about 5 percent.
Nepal Telecom has the highest turnover. Shares of the company worth Rs 265.71 million were traded. Similarly, Mahalakshmi Development Bank, Civil Bank, Sana Kisan Development Lagubitta , Nabil Bank, Chandragiri Hills, Jyoti Development Bank, National Hydropower Company, Api Power Company and Lumbini Development Bank have also witnessed high turnover.
Of the 13 indicators traded, the index of three groups has increased while the index of all other groups has decreased. The banking group increased by 0.54 percent, the hotel and tourism group by 0.76 percent and the other group by 0.91 percent, while the hotel and tourism group declined the most by 1.44 percent.
